<body topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0" bottommargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0"> <p>Children's entertainer, Balloon Modeller, Punch & Judy...<br> <br> Ron Popple is Ronnie Crackers, known throughout the Midlands originally as Crackers The Clown, he was voted UK Children's Entertainer of The Year 2002 at a convention of over 3,000 magicians from around the world.<br> <br> As an Associate of The Inner Magic Circle with Silver Star he is recognised by fellow magicians as being amongst the best there is.<br> <br> Ron is based in the West Midlands and travels throughout the UK presenting his various skills.<br> <br> He has also lectured to Magicians from around the world sharing his knowledge and experience on entertaining children.<br> <br> Ron is a full member of Equity and as such caries 5 Million Pounds Public Liability Insurance.<br> <br> Ronnie Crackers is an ideal entertainer for your child’s party, whether it is a small gathering at home or a large special party in a hall, even for a factory Christmas Party. Ron has various shows ranging from a 30 minute nursery show to a whole two hour party package, including games and dancing.<br> <br> Ron is recognised as one if one the best children’s entertainer in the Midlands. In fact he was voted UK Children’s Entertainer of the Year 2002, beating off competition from around the UK in a final held in Blackpool at the world’s largest magic convention.<br> <br> Ron entertains using magic, comedy, games, puppets and balloon animals during his standard shows. In addition he can offer Punch & Judy and face painting to make the event even more memorable than it will be already.<br> <br> Ron has used his children’s entertainment skills across the country and is regularly featured at Cadbury’s World, Alton Towers and Seven Valley Railway. He has also been used by major companies such as Warner Brothers Cinema, Lloyds TSB and The Merry Hill Centre.<br> <br> A standard show is ideal if you are constrained by budget, sitting down the children are entertained by Buster the Dog, or Charlie the Monkey as they try and help Ron with his magic. On has a selection of puppets and magic effects so he can revisit the same audience without them getting bored.<br> <br> The birthday child is made a special fuss over towards the end of the show and there are plenty of great photo opportunities for Mum and Dad. The birthday child gets a special balloon model – perhaps a large motorbike or Tree Frog!<br> <br> This show has lots of audience participation and is about enjoyment and magic; it is not about patronising children by miscalling colours or making them feel silly!<br> <br> This show comes in three sizes dependant on your venue and the size of the audience, the largest including a full PA system is idea for large functions and schools.<br> <br> Ron also offers a full two hour party package. This includes Games, music and dancing suitable for the ages of children attending, a break for food followed by a fun magic show.<br> <br> The Games Ron offers are specific to the children he is entertaining, these could include classic children’s party games like musical chairs or Rons fun filled variations such as pass the hat or corners.<br> <br> If required the 2 hour parties can be themed. <br> <br> When offering a 2 hour party Ron will help advise Parents on the best times for a party, these have proven to be 12 – 2pm and 4 -6pm. The reason for this is that these are the times when children normally eat, and so the party doesn’t disrupt their normal routines. <br> <br> Often parents have parties 3- 5 or 2- 4 and we can cater for these. However we have found parents don’t know if they should feed there child at lunch, often leaving children lethargic or hyperactive before the party starts. If you have 35 children you can have problems with one or two before you start.<br> <br> Ron has worked with several other leaders in the area of Children's Entertainment and developed a number of themed shows. These are suitable for special party themes and education events. If you do not see it on the list please ask.<br> <br> Harry Potter Themed Show<br> <br> Ron has a creative Wizard who works at Zonkos Joke Shop in Hogsmead. He enthrals his audiences with tales and magic from Hogwarts. Ron was one of the first people to offer Harry Potter Themed shows in the Midlands and he has been used by Bloombergs, and Warner Brothers for Harry Potter events.<br> <br> This show has been used in Libraries as part of Reading weeks and holiday term activities.<br> <br> The Magic of Books<br> <br> This show is show celebrating the magic of books, it explores a wide range of styles and is adapted to suit three age ranges, under 5's, 5 – 8 and 8 – 11 year olds. It is a great treat for a school at the end of term and very educational. This show has already been booked in 2004 for Wolverhampton libraries, a booking for the third year in a row.<br> <br> Learning with Thomas<br> <br> This is a special show designed for Seven Valley Railway and aimed at children under 7. It is a 30 minute show that blends the Magic of Ron Popple and Thomas the Tank engine with the fun of learning. It is currently used exclusively by the education department of Seven Valley Railways.<br> <br> Moral Puppets<br> <br> These are small 20 minute shows based on old testament stories and Aesop’s Fables. They are designed to introduce the audience to morals and ethics, they are non judgemental and an idea tool for use in PSHE lessons or a Sunday school environment. They use a puppet theatre and are tailored to suit the requirements of the client.<br> <br> Other Shows themes we can do are:<br> <br> Pirates<br> Cowboys and Indians<br> Gangsters<br> Dinosaurs<br> Healthy Eating<br> Science is Fun<br> Fairy Tales<br> <br> Ron is one of the best Punch & Judy performers in the Midlands. He presents a traditional show but it has no violence in it. It is full of traditional elements with a blend of modern humour. The children and the adults love it. His booth and show are ideal for fetes, family fun days and special occasions.<br> <br> His Punch And Judy show is a regular feature at places like Cadbury’s World, and Seven Valley Railway.<br> <br> Ron presents a wide range of balloon models including balloon from multiple balloons these include Pink Panthers, Road Runners and Monkeys in Trees.<br> <br> Ron also presents a mixture of static displays, hats and one balloon models as a wandering entertainer. His flying mice are legendary.<br> <br> Ron can also offer face painting either as an integrated activity at your party or as a separate event.<br> <br> Ron’s wife Hazel is one of the premier face painters in the West Midlands, being in demand at venues as diverse as Seven Valley Railway, Alton Towers and Cadbury World.
